Haj forms to be distributed from March 16

 The AP Haj Committee will start distributing the Haj application forms throughout the state from March 16.

A meeting of the Haj committee was held today during which it was decided to distribute the forms through the members of the Haj committee in some districts besides volunteer Haj committees in other districts.

During the meeting convened by committee chairman Syed Khaleeluddin Ahmed, the issue of better facilities and amenities to the pilgrims, right from filing of applications till their return, came up for discussion.

The committee will visit Rajiv Gandhi International airport and seek extension of the area of the Haj terminal and provide facilities like a larger area for prayers for women, visitors and a shade for them.

The Chairman also approved the Haj society of Nizamabad district which is supervised by committee member Habeebuddin Ahmed.
