The State Haj Committee on Friday appealed to the pilgrims selected in the draw of lots recently that if they were holding valid international passports at the time of filing their pilgrimage applications they should submit the same before June 30.
Committee chairman Syed Khaleeluddin Ahmed said the Central Haj Committee has extended the last date for submission of passports from June 15 to June 30. He said that the passports deposited at the Haj House in the city will be sent to the Central Haj Committee for endorsement of Haj visa by the Saudi embassy and Consulate General.
